About Stockmon
Stockmon is a browser creature-collecting game on Robinhood Chain. Its fixed Genesis collection of 116 ERC-721 creatures was a free mint on 2026-08-02; every creature carries permanent Stock DNA, a weighting of tokenized-stock tickers. A 3% buy and sell tax on the MON token reaches the Stockmon Vault as WETH; every 48 hours the Vault splits what it received 50/50 between tokenized-stock purchases for all 116 Genesis IDs (divided by DNA) and the project treasury. The basket is sealed to the NFT: it moves with a sale and is released only when the owner burns the creature.

Getting startedYou need a Genesis or Aetheryn creature NFT to play.
All 116 Genesis were claimed in the free mint, so new players buy one on the official marketplace in USDG (or hatch an Aetheryn from a creature they already own). A Hunt also locks USDG in a liquidity position until the creature returns, and each Breeding seal costs MON quoted at the time of sealing. Prices vary.
To earn
Buy Stockmon NFT (price varies) · Own a Genesis or Aetheryn creature Bought for USDG on the official marketplace or OpenSea; Genesis supply is fixed at 116. Only Genesis IDs share the MON-tax Feed; Aetheryn keep their own Birth Vault and Hunt basket.
Buy 50 USDG · Lock USDG in a Hunt position The client accepts 50 to 500 USDG per Hunt. Principal returns to the opener, subject to liquidity-pool market risk; fee value goes to the creature's basket.
Buy MON (price varies) · Pay MON to seal a Breeding Egg One seal per Egg at a five-minute MON quote. 87.5% stays in the child's Birth Vault, released when the child is burned; 12.5% goes to the treasury at Hatch.
How you earnGenesis IDs accrue tokenized stocks bought with half of the MON-tax WETH the Vault receives; Hunts add swap-fee value as stock or pending USDG to the creature's basket.
Baskets are sealed to the NFT and released only by burning it. Breeding produces Aetheryn NFTs holding Birth Vault MON. Creatures can be sold for USDG. No yield or price is guaranteed.
WithdrawalsNothing can be withdrawn from a living creature's basket.
Burning (permanent redemption) a Genesis releases its settled stock tokens and pending WETH to the burner; burning an Aetheryn releases its Birth Vault MON (finalized examples verified) and Field claims. Hunt principal returns at the end of each Hunt. Selling the NFT for USDG is the other exit.
Genesis IDs accrue tokenized stocks bought with half of the MON-tax WETH the Vault receives. Earning needs you to own a Genesis or Aetheryn creature and lock USDG in a Hunt position and pay MON to seal a Breeding Egg.
Does Stockmon pay players?
Not measured yet. P2E Scout does not measure Stockmon’s reward payouts on chain, so its rewards paid are shown as unknown, not zero.
MON traders pay a 3% tax that becomes WETH in the Vault: half buys tokenized stocks sealed to the 116 Genesis NFTs, half goes to the treasury. Hunts lock players' USDG in a liquidity pool, with swap-fee value added to the creature's basket. Breeding payments mostly stay locked with the new NFT. Players cash out by selling creatures or burning them.

Still to establish
Hunt participation and fee value are not measured: each Hunt routes USDG through a new vault clone (182 clones against 25 player wallets in a 3-day sample), so counting transfer counterparties would count clones as players.
Vault revenue (24.69 WETH lifetime per the official API and the TaxProcessor), stock purchases and basket values are not collected; Genesis baskets are only shown as the game's own estimate.
Treasury income is not counted as revenue: the hatch share, marketplace fee, Hunt sweeps and the Vault's WETH share all arrive from game contracts, and the treasury also receives unrelated transfers.
The treasury sent about 9.5M MON to individual wallets (e.g. five transfers of about 352,800 MON, 5.01M to one wallet) for reasons no official source explains; not counted as rewards.
The successor Birth Coordinator, Birth Vault, Egg and child contracts (since 2026-10-10) and the Hunt contract are not in the docs contract map and have no verified source; they are bound by the official API and receipts. A third 'Aetheryn V3' contract 0x7a4e…0046 in the client is unresolved.
Genesis resales on OpenSea and any royalties were not traced; Flap's own share of the MON tax is not measured.
No Genesis has been burned yet, so the Genesis redemption path (stock tokens and pending WETH to the burner) has no finalized example.
PVP battles, agent payments and MON-powered Hunt upgrades are announced but not live; no rewards from them exist.

Stockmon is an experimental Robinhood Chain collectible where 116 free-minted Genesis creatures accrue tokenized stocks bought with half of a 3% MON trading tax, and creatures earn Hunt liquidity fees and breed MON-backed Aetheryn NFTs. It is a borderline play-to-earn game: what players earn is mostly financial (tax share, LP fees, returned breeding payments) wrapped in light creature gameplay, with battles not yet live. The documentation and public APIs are careful and matched the chain exactly, but the contracts players use for Hunts and current Breeding are unverified, admin control is a single EOA, and the user base and MON market are small. Values are sealed in each NFT until it is burned. We measure breeding participation only.
Economic sustainability40
Nothing is paid from emissions. Genesis baskets are funded by a 3% MON trading tax (24.69 WETH lifetime, half to the treasury), so their growth depends on MON volume, now about 1.1k USD a day. Hunt fee value comes from swappers in an external pool, against principal that can lose value. Birth Vault MON is the breeder's own payment returned on burn. There is no reserve or promise behind any of it, and new value per player is small.
The playable loop is choosing a creature, opening 6.5-hour Hunts that are USDG liquidity positions, collecting seven Readiness Marks and breeding Eggs into new NFTs. XP is cosmetic and Hunts involve no skill beyond timing. The artwork, DNA and lineage system are distinctive, but battles (PVP) are not live, so today it plays more like a DeFi collectible than a game.

Small but real-looking activity: 268 Egg seals from about 46+ wallets since 2026-09-25 (V3 coordinator alone: 46 payers, 12 using EIP-7702 delegated wallets), about 25 Hunt wallets in a 3-day sample, 116 distinct Genesis minters and 643 MON holders. Activity is concentrated: the top V3 breeder sealed 12 Eggs, and a few wallets also appear as treasury recipients. No bot-farm pattern was seen, but the base is tiny.

Token and holders45
MON has a fixed 1B supply, a Flap clone with owner() zero and no EIP-1967 proxy, and a 3% buy/sell tax that runs to 2126. FDV is about 158k USD with about 43k USD of liquidity in one Uniswap v2 pair. Top-10 holders own 40.6% (GeckoTerminal). The treasury held 5.34M MON and sent about 9.5M MON to individual wallets with no published reason. Genesis supply is fixed at 116; the Aetheryn cap is only a design target.
Unusually detailed docs and public APIs whose figures matched the chain exactly (Vault WETH equals the TaxProcessor total; 268 seals equals the log count). Vault and Genesis sources are verified. Against that, the successor Breeding contracts and the Hunt contract players actually use are missing from the docs contract map and have no verified source; treasury MON distributions are unexplained, and basket values are only the game's own estimates.
Player value sits in contracts for long periods: baskets stay sealed until burn, 19.4M MON sits in Birth Vaults, and Hunt principal sits in liquidity positions. One EOA is default admin of the Genesis collection and the Vault (2-day transfer delay, pause and route-adapter rotation), and the treasury is a plain EOA. The Hunt and successor Breeding contracts are unverified and labelled experimental. Holders also carry LP, tokenized-stock issuer and price risk. No honeypot or rug signal was seen.
