Privacy policy
You can browse P2E Scout without an account. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it.
When you browse
- Analytics: Umami Cloud counts page views, referrers, country, device type and a few named actions (such as pressing Play or submitting a review) without cookies. Event data never contains emails, wallet addresses or text you type.
- Security and rate limits: our servers and Cloudflare process your IP address to deliver pages, block abuse and keep short-lived rate-limit counters.
- Ads: the first ad slot you load sets a
scout_visitorcookie (a random ID, 30 days) so an advertiser is billed only for real, capped, viewable impressions. Per-network caps use a keyed hash of your IP address, not the address itself. Clicking an ad sets ascout_attributioncookie for 30 minutes. Campaign reports are aggregate. - Theme: your light or dark choice is stored in your browser only.
When you sign in
Your account holds a display name and handle, the wallets, passkeys and email address you link, and a sign-in session cookie. Signing in with a wallet proves you control it and never authorizes a payment. Linked wallets are shown on your public profile only if you choose; your email address is always private and is used for sign-in links and replies to your messages.
When you contribute
- Reviews are published with your handle after approval.
- Game submissions, suggested updates and bounty answers are stored with your account and copied into private GitHub issues for our research. A submission’s contact email appears only in that private issue.
- Project claims store the project wallet and its signature.
- Points, ranks and badges are public on the leaderboard and your profile.
When you email us or advertise
Mail to any p2escout.com address is stored privately in Cloudflare and answered from [email protected] through Resend. Advertisers’ campaigns, creatives, ad credit and linked payment wallets are kept in our ledger, with encrypted off-site backups. Payments are blockchain transactions, which are public by nature.
Services we use
OVH (hosting), Cloudflare (network, email routing and storage), Resend (email delivery), Umami Cloud (analytics) and GitHub (private research issues). The data sources we read for game measurements never receive information about you.
Your choices
You can edit your profile and choose whether your wallet is public on your account page. To get a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account, email [email protected] from your linked address or tell us your handle. Public blockchain records cannot be deleted by anyone. P2E Scout is not directed at children.
